Kiwanis Marketplace Thrift Store is proud to announce the installation of new, dynamic signage both inside and outside the store, designed to celebrate the powerful role that donating, shopping, and volunteering play in supporting local children and families.

Inside the Marketplace, guests will now see visually engaging displays that highlight the importance of community involvement. These signs share how every donated item, every hour volunteered, and every treasure purchased directly strengthens the Desert Foothills region through programs funded by the Kiwanis Club of Carefree Benefit Foundation. A second interior feature showcases the total amount the Benefit Foundation has given back to the community, an impressive $11,193,769.00 year to date. This impact display will be updated quarterly to reflect ongoing contributions. As the Marketplace proudly notes: “We do it all for the kids.”

In addition, the Marketplace has added new monument signage outside the building, offering drivers and shoppers a clear view of daily deals, special promotions, and upcoming sales. The goal is to keep the community informed, engaged, and excited about the savings and opportunities available each week.

“We are incredibly grateful to our community,” said Kiwanis Marketplace General Manager, Alex Perez. “Every donation, every purchase, and every volunteer hour directly fuels the work Kiwanis Club of Carefree does for children. These new signs are our way of showing the impact our supporters make every single day.”

Thanks to the ongoing generosity of shoppers, volunteers, and donors, Kiwanis continues to expand its reach and deliver life-changing support to kids in our community. The Marketplace invites everyone to stop by, see the new signage, and continue being a part of this meaningful mission.
