US Army Civil War Binoculars Bardou & Son Paris. The binoculars are in good condition with wear and tear commensurate with age. The leather cover on one side is loose as the stitching is missing and there is a small chip on the right lens. We tested the optics and they work as expected, you can read license plates from quite a distance. When checking the sun/rain shields we noticed engravings underneath. On the left is Ethel C. Cosgrove Le Sueur Minn and on the right is US Navy RI5562. The little screw on the focus wheel has a habit of coming loose. The hard-shell leather case needs a little attention as the cover is detached. Please check photos carefully.
